UPCOMING:

EV Master Board          Meeting: Thursday,         Sept. 13th  at 10am

Amazing Stats:   UPDATED: April 30, 2018

Did you know the body of a tilapia is .008% phosphorus and .02% nitrogen? To date, 9,000 pounds of breeding tilapia have been harvested from our lakes. The cost to remove the 72 pounds of phosphorus and 180 pounds of nitrogen by other means would have been $300 per pound for phosphorus and $150-200 per pound for nitrogen. By harvesting tilapia, EVMA has removed $48,600 - $57,600 of nutrients from the ponds at NO cost.
